The gospel can transform our identity. It did that for Paul. Why is it so hard for us women not to compare ourselves with someone else who appears to have it all together?

Fullness: Containing all that is wanted, needed, or possible. Not needing anything more. That state of being filled to capacity. Complete. Lacking nothing.

Epignosis knowledge means precise and correct knowledge of things ethical and divine. It is having divine wisdom. It is intimate, personal, and experiential knowledge of God and Christ.

Tender intimacy with the Lord, during the stress and trials in our life, develops within us the right perspective of having stability in God as our rock, shield, and fortress. But do we fully understand and own it?

David said in Psalm 63:2: “Thus I have seen You in the sanctuary, to see Your power and Your glory.” David experienced God’s presence and found God’s faithful love is more precious to him than life itself.

In the Old Testament, the Hebrew word Shaquat, meant to be at peace; be tranquil; be quiet; undisturbed. It was used 41 times throughout Joshua all the way to Zachariah.

I desire to have someone say during the eulogy at my memorial service some day: “She was rich in faith and her dignity was like the color purple.”

What verse sustains you? What verse reminds you God will work it all out? What verse echoes your praise of thanksgiving to God?

David danced before the Lord, cried, had fear, had feelings of worthlessness, and felt despised. He expressed all of these emotions. Yet David’s refuge, shield, hope, joy, and trust, was in the LORD, rather than in any human power.

There is no bigger battle than fighting anxiety. We open our mouths while the storm is waging within us. It can take up a great portion of our day.
